This article claims "a minimum, social media is the new phone. It’s both an inbound and outbound marketing tool to contact and communicate with prospects. Is it the best phone to use for all contacts? Certainly not, but it does allow you to call more people in a day than you’d likely be able to call in a week using a standard phone."

 

Hmmm. I’m not sure I’d want to equate social media with the annoying smiling and dialing phone call!
